Goodwill Opportunity Centers In Chattanooga And Dalton To Host Multiple Hiring Events

Goodwill Opportunity Centers in Chattanooga and Dalton will host two community hiring events the first week of August.


The Goodwill Opportunity Center in Chattanooga will host a community hiring event with Partners Personnel on Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Opportunity Center, next to the Goodwill store at 7601 East Brainerd Road, will welcome job seekers to take advantage of on-site opportunities and support.



Available positions include:

  • Forklift drivers
  • Warehouse associates
  • Paint technicians
  • Material handlers
  • Inventory clerks

Pay ranges from $13 to $18/hour, depending on position and experience.


The Goodwill Opportunity Center in Dalton, inside the Goodwill store at 1001 Market Street, will host a community hiring event with Randstad Staffing on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Available positions include production and general warehouse roles. Pay ranges from $16 to $18/hour.


Job seekers are encouraged to attend and take advantage of immediate interview opportunities.


In addition to hosting hiring events, the Goodwill Opportunity Center offers free career services, including career assessments, job search support, employment readiness assistance, digital skills training, financial education, and resume and interview preparation.

Goodwill Industries of the Greater Chattanooga Area is hosting a forklift operator training course in conjunction with Sunbelt Rentals on Tuesday, July 28, through Thursday, July 30. The class will be held at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus, 6104 Preservation Dr. in Chattanooga. The three-day boot camp training is provided in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Human Services Division of Rehabilitation Services/Vocational Rehabilitation. The course includes American National Standards Institute (ANSI) classes 1, 4, and 5 warehouse forklift operator certification and career readiness training. In addition to these types of training opportunities, the Goodwill Opportunity Campus and the two Opportunity Centers in Dalton and East Brainerd provide free employment services such as career assessments, job search support, employment readiness assistance, digital skills training, financial and nutritional education and resume and interview preparation.
