Goodwill opens new store in LaFayette

LAFAYETTE, Ga. (WDEF) – Goodwill of Greater Chattanooga celebrated a brand-new store Thursday. 

They opened a new store on Mize Street in Lafayette.

The store also is a donation center for Goodwill.

They had door prizes throughout the day as locals came to shop for bargains during their grand opening.

Michelle Turner, communications director for Goodwill, said, “We’ve had a wonderful grand opening. I got here at 6:50, and we already had people in line this morning. I’m just so impressed with this community and their excitement to have us here.”

The store is Goodwill’s 17th retail location in our area.
