Chattanooga Goodwill Industries has a variety of programs for students in kindergarten through college.
Each summer, Goodwill hosts high school students from Georgia and Tennessee who have special needs. They learn the power of work through opportunities with community partners and Goodwill's contract services and retail stores. Through a federal grant, Chattanooga Goodwill Industries is also part of the GoodGuides™ youth mentoring program.
Goodwill also has an ongoing partnership with Hamilton County's character education initiative to provide disability awareness education to public school students in grades K-12. As part of this program, Goodwill hosts the annual Smile Week donation drive as an official service learning project.
Opportunities also exist for local college students who are interested in internships in public relations or writing or with the Goodwill Assistance Dog Academy.
